Cambodia Angkor Air to open a new route between Siem Reap and Sihanouk ville

Cambodia Angkor Air (K6) is planning to open a new route between Siem Reap and Sihanouk ville. This is a newest route of the airline this year, connecting the two most attractive destinations of the country: Siem Reap (Angkor Wat) and the Southwest coastal beaches of Sihanouk ville. Target market for this plan is foreigner tourists who rapidly increasing the number through recent years in the young travel industrial country.

K6 schedules 3 flights per week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starting from mid-month of December 2011. The flights use ATR-72 turboprop aircrafts and flight duration is 45 minutes one way.
